This German found peace in May, 1946, one year after the Nazi surrender ended the war in Europe. I have no idea what he experienced.

I assume he built this stone pile perch, what an inventive idea. I hope the tide wasn't coming in. This moment was just after I was born and tucked up safely in my cot unaware of all the heartache the war caused. An interesting capture.
