Free Nikon Coolpix 5700, needs work.

We are downsizing next year and I came across my old Nikon Coolpix 5700. Tried to get it going again but I think the battery is defective, sometimes it works , sometimes not. Lens goes in and out. I want to give this away to someone who may know more about these things than I do in the hopes that they can troubleshoot and get it into the hands of a child. My grandkids used this and my old P80 and have since upgraded as they got older. The younger six yr old now has the P80 and I have this one left.They only used it when I was with them and it has not been dropped or abused. If anyone is interested pm me and I will send it to any one in the USA. We have the charger, strap and I believe the manual. I will send whatever I can find.

I am sorry , but the camera has already found a new home. I would like to encourage those of us who have many years of equipment stored away going unused to try to find a new home for it. :-D
