I was wondering if anyone of you ever tried stock photography? Have you heard of the "Breakfast Stock Club"? What are your thoughts?
Here is a link I was looking at.

My guess is they collect $29 from a lot of people and that is the end of it. I am always skeptical of adds that quote the value of their product at 10 times what they are charging.

"And this week only, you won’t pay anywhere near its $318 value. You’ll pay just $29.25 and if the program doesn’t work for you, you can cancel and you won’t pay a cent more. Keep reading because it gets even better…."

You don't get a refund if you cancel, you just don't have to pay any more.

If you are serious about stock photography, stay away from that site. The first thing you must comitt to is creating lots of images for a stock photography company. It is very difficult to make any money as a beginner because of so many free stock photosites. out.com/od/professionals/tp/stockphoto.htm

This looks like a waste of money. If you are interested in selling stock photos, go to a stock photography sight,(such as shutterstock.com) and read the tutorials that they offer.

Keep in mind the pay out is usually 25 cents per down load, but hey, a quarter here and a quarter there after a while adds up the a couple of bucks:)

I totally agree, to much free stuff out there. Better off creating your own site or try Fine Art America. Have had some luck there.

Get a flat shovel, because that elaborate sales pitch is largely b.s., with occasional lumps of downright fraud.

Stock photography is a highly competitive market and very difficult to make decent money with. I have used stock sites or a few years now and whilst I have made some sales it hasn't allowed me to give up the day job. I have all but given up with stock sites.

Rather than shooting stock I now sell my photos through Deviant Art (where I make the odd sale) and print on demand stores (where I do make pretty good money).

As Yackers pointed out, Stock is VERY competitive. The OP can browse appropriate categories at some of the major stock agencies, and ask: "Is my work REALLY as good as what I see? Can I produce work of this quality efficiently and consistently?"
