When you hold the camera up to your eye with the lens folded over the LCD I usually use my left hand to block any stray sunlight that might affect the view on the LCD. It works very well and it's as if you have a 3 inch EVF.

Cool...Just spent a boatload on accessories and ANOTHER tripod for my camera...My budget right now is very limited...

I didn't want to offer you a low amount because I know sometimes with my own things I sell it's hard not to feel insulted when someone lowballs me on an item.
Unfortunately right now I can't really spend more than $10 bucks on anything. I would think you'd possibly get more for it from someone else?

Yes I do have an RX100M2. I really appreciate you helping me out.. I love the new camera I got but I've noticed buying accessories for it really adds up!

The ClearViewer will work great on your camera. When I had my RX100II I put a little piece of black electrical tape on bottom of the part that fits into the hot shoe. When I sold the camera, I used it on a Ricoh GR and didn't need the tape. If you find that it is a little loose on the Sony, just put a little tape on it. You may not need to though.
