Out for a soar.....
It was Valentine's Day and I saw a total of 10 different Eagles, immature and adult within a 50mile span up the Ohio River. (There were even 4 adults that were hanging out together - looked like a double date.) I would have missed these guys if it hadn't of been for my husband :)
These were taken with my Sony & with my cheapo 55-300mm lens (I really need a longer lens, lol) So, I'm pretty proud of myself - for the lens that I have to work with. (course these birds weren't real close - so they are heavily cropped) but I am still pretty excited.
Hope you like ;)
Bif's and I generally don't work well together so all things considered, you get two thumbs up for each shot.. :)

Thanks for those 's
Excellent series, Steph! Your use of negative space and overall composition are very well done. One can actually feel the temperature and light. A rarity.

Thanks Tom! I'm pretty excited over these. Especially since I got a "pair" in the shot. Just wish i had a bigger lens - 😁😉
