I got a cheap one in the beginning but, the adjustment kept loosening up and the build of it didn't give me much confidence. I got a good, more expensive, Cotton Carrier hand strap and the difference in comfort, build quality, and adjustments staying where I put them is well worth the extra $$$.
Some support equipment should not be skimped on and some, not so critical. Personally, I prefer not to trust a $5,000 camera lens combo on a cheap strap, tripod, bag, filter, etc. Many times it's perfectly fine to go budget and other times, not so much.
Please let us know what you think of the one you just received.

Quality matters, and camera lives matter. If you have ever been rock climbing, spelunking, rappelling or any other potentially life threatening activity then you don't tend to trust "budget price safety gear".
If you have ever had someone run a red light and T-boned them at 45mph then your were probably wearing a seat belt if you are reading this. I got a bruised sternum and bruises on both hands where they left the wheel and hit the dash. The other car was shaped like a banana and all three occupants went to hospital with unpleasant although thankfully non life threatening injuries.
