i got to the tulip fields yesterday and brought home these peony looking tulips..had some fun with them in picasa..finally getting on in the beginning of the photo challenge..i'm always looking at it a day late and end up posting on pg 35 or 40!
I was so surprised to see this. When I planted it last fall, I thought I had killed it and wouldn;t see anything this year.

Snow is gone except for a few patches. Been watching your knee updates and when out inthe woods, not on paths and trails (we are country out here, paths don't exist, dirt roads do), I have to pay attention so as not to turn a foot too much. Was out yesterday and on snow, no problem but now with fallen branches and the uneven terrain, I pass my tie watching where I am going. If I want to see anything I'll have to stop LOL.
A few more trees down as we had a blower the other day. I won't run out of stovewood for quite awhile! Cutting wood is another thing everytime I move a foot I check it out and I never walk with my chainsaw running. At best I guess I could cut a cord a day...Is it age or knees or both?

Thanks for the tips, RR. Yes, I have learned that also. Took cane yesterday as it was first trial. Tree roots and "holes". But no sidewalks here and roads have narrow shoulders and inconsiderate drivers. My old knee wouldn't had made it to the upper yard!Think I'd better post before the day gets gone. Busy day with little time to play.
Kneedless to say, we both navigate in the same canoe and paddles are always at the ready...
