Fantastic shots Bob. Love the treatments. They lend themselves well to the subjects. We have quite a few Pow Wows around here in Lenape country. My friend is the chief of the Lenape tribe in south Jersey. In high school they disbanded the Sea and Air Scouts so or Explorer Post became an Indian dance team. It was a lot of fun.

Thanks Gresgorz. While obliterating most of the details in the background, I tried to keep in just a hint of what was going on. Adding some natural textures seemed to help immensely.

Thanks Doc. Next time, I have to shoot just a little wider so I have a bit more background to play with.

Thanks Doc. A friend of mine works at the Museum of the Cherokee in NC and hosts a Native American Dance Festival in June. You can bet I will attend the event if it is at all possible.

Thank you Sylvia. I agree with you ...... the subject matter is just plain marvelous. The problem is that their are hundreds, if not thousands of spectators in the background, so it's a challenge to isolate the main players ....... but definitely worth it.

Nice work on the photos, Bob. And the capturing of the expressions on the faces is first-rate.
