Images like these tell stories which make one stop and ponder for a while therefore fulfilling one of the objectives of SP (in my opinion anyway).

Excellent, thought-provoking images! Representative of both documentary photojournalism and traditional "street".
I can never forget walking the streets of a lovely community on the outskirts of Munich in 1964. And wondering what the many locals in the age range of 40 years old and older were thinking and doing as they saw and smelled the smoke and other effluvia of the horrid things that were ... going on ... in their lovely town of Dachau just twenty short years before....
