I purchased Photoshop CS6 a few years ago with the intention of learning how to use it. To date, I have the ability to change a photo to B&W, and to colorize a baseball/softball being thrown in that image. That's it!!! Can someone please recommend a learning source so that I can finally use the software to a better degree. Thanks!

Lynda dot com and Kelby One both have several very good video classes on photoshop (and many other topics). You can subscribe for a year or by the month for Lynda dot com. Both frequently offer a free week to explore their sites.

There are a number of great tutorials on photoshop on youtube. No fees involved in watching them. Just search for Photoshop CS6 beginner, or introduction, etc. That should provide you with all you need to get started. Adobe also has tutorials on their site.

If you have a specific question, you can always post it here and get lots of help, as well.

I like Kelbyone. They have a 10 day free trial, then $199 yr. You have access to all there video's. You can start at basic & work up or skip around & keep your favorites.

I learnt from books and trying out what things in the program did. The program help button gives you access to info about how to do things. Youtube is also very good

Check out Creative Live.com, PHOTOSHOP WEEK coming up, a week of free all day classes online. Can purchase after if you like. Even having used PS for umteen years, I still sat and watched it last year for a solid week, well worth it....

Dziadzi,

I also like http://blogs.adobe.com/jkost/2015/02/its-photoshop-week-at-creativelive-february-23-28th.html that OnDSnap suggested. You can access their main site by just going to http://www.creativelive.com

I have watched several of the free live online presentations as well as having purchased some after watching them. If you buy them within so much time after or during watching them, they are usually about $20 cheaper, possibly a little more discounted sometimes.

Oh, they do run specials throughout the year and sometimes you are able to buy them for 30-50% off the regular price, so you can watch them anytime you are free to do so on your computer. It is like building up your library of Photography videos/lessens/tutorials. Happy watching and learning!!!

Best Regards,
Tom
