I am just an ocassional traveler. Just returned from a 12 day trip and the "issue" strap became a problem. Any ideas on a better strap and where to purchase? Thank you.

I have 3 of these, been using them for over 30 years now:

Best strap on the market for the money, and they are 100% American Made!

MT twisted my arm, too, and I have single straps for my cameras and the dual for carrying two. Good products from a good company.

I have the 5100 and use a "pacsafe" strap. Nice feature is the embedded stainless steel wire to prevent theft by cutting. An occasional risk in some of the more challenging places in the world! Try "www.zappos.com/pacsafe-carrysafe-100-camera-strap-mocha"

Try these folks in Seattle, they have some terrific products that make carrying a camera simple with your hands free.

MT, I took your suggestion and bought the loop strap and it works great, along with a regular strap, with the connectors, I can interchange the straps, great product. Thanks for the idea.

Thanks MT. I just ordered the Pro Strap this morning, went with Pro instead of loop, as I figured it wouldn't fray like one of the reviewers told about. The Pro Strap will have a more flat surface on the camera connection. Thanks

I too took his advice and have on on my 5100. Perfect!

My wife just bought one for her P500 also. A little overkill but she likes it. The Nikon issue on that one is even wimpier.

The only strap I kcan wear all day and not have my neck hurt is a Crumpler Industry Disgrace. I have recycled at least three other kinds that were supposed to be good.

You have to consider that MT attaches bazooka sized lenses to his cameras!!
