Today in the Coeur d' Alene, Press newspaper, here in north Idaho, I spotted my squirrel photo I took a couple of days ago.
I submitted the one photo and I feel honored to have this published. It's my first squirrel photo.

How blessed you are to live in a place where things are so slow and easy that a squirrel eating a peanut can make the newspaper.
Yes, he is cute, and I agree squirrels are cute and fun to watch.
And there is the fact that you took a great picture of this one.

Congrats Regis, another outstanding shot. chase
Congratulations! Of course, I like your original better. I like everything about it.
Did they do some of their own post-processing that gave it that reddish color?
Congratulations Regis. Now the people of Coeur d' Alene will get to enjoy what we have been enjoying for a while.

This species is called Red Squirrels. They have a bright tan body color with hints of red in their bushy tail. I don't know why they named it a Red Squirrel.
Thank you, CathyAnn.
