Big Easy Vacation

My wife and I sent a few days in New Orleans. It was her first trip there. I had been stationed in Gulfport MS with the Seabees between overseas tours and had not been back to the city in many years. Attached are a few shots of the French Quarter, Oak Alley, and the Mississippi River.

Great photos. I visited there before Hurricane Katrina. Half the population left and decided not to return. But it still has a lot to offer. The St. Louis Cathedral, I believe, was the backdrop, to President George W. Bush's speech, on the government helping New Orleans to recover from hurricane destruction. Beautiful Cathedral. Glad you had fun.
