I am an art graduate and a photography student, I have been shooting B&W film for two years now, and recently started shooting color film. And I also enjoy digital. After shooting semi-locally for all this time I guess my biggest issue is finding what I believe to be interesting places to shoot at. And finding good subject matter that is not overdone or played out to my professors. Any advice on how to get over my shooting block? Does anyone know of any cool
Locations in south central PA?
You can try to shoot challenges - ten items in one room with only available lighting, shoot around campus with one focal length, a day in the life, or pick a specific theme (like only red things).
Scavenger hunts are also fun. Make a list - emotions, letters of the alphabet, shapes, whatever; then take a shot of each one.
