I posted the other day about acquiring this lens and several of you mentioned you wanted to see some pix. So here you go. The pictures were all shot using a monopod because I was paranoid about the lack of VR. To some degree I was right because the crops as you will see are softer than I expected (I always knew that as you age the first thing to go is hand-holding, lol). All shots are straight out of the camera (D7000) and I resisted PS. It was a high-contrast day and a contributor to any shakiness may have been the weather: 30*, wind chill 17*, winds gusts to 25mph. I haven't re-visited all my in-cam focus settings yet but I will say that the complaints I heard most about: excessive flare; fogging of elements and continuous focus hunting in live view (which I never use anyway) are non-existent. It's a great lens, all things considered (I think). The subject matter is nothing special, I was solely interested in evaluating the IQ. Any and all opinions and advice are welcome. Thanks

I'm backwards, this is a crop of last picture
