5.2-grams? That is the weight of a hummingbird.

5,200-grams, on the other hand, is a bit heavier.

Yeah.yeah.yeah...
Mine's been on order for over a year, just waiting for the funding to magically appear.
It's like Gray Davis once said: "It's not really a case of overspending, it's a matter of underfunding."

Hey! what's with the case. Mine came in a tattered Nikon yellow/black box! It is a 10 pounder! How else can you have a lens wrap around your camera to get the extra 40 degrees? Someone explain that geometry.

It'll be replaced with a newer model tomorrow which will drive the price down to about $80K. Then next week a newer one will come out and drive it lower. Hold out for two weeks and you get it for about 45K.

Perhaps not Pounder 35.......they were made around 1970. About 10 sold.... Mind you there is an alternative value for money deal.. For the Queens Jubilee this year Royal Lochnagar distillery have produced 60 bottles of a scotch whisky that was made in 1952. It is just ready for drinking at the bargain price of 100,000 pounds Sterling.......
What a dilemma!

I'd go with the Scotch. (how much in USD?) It would change your perspective anyway. After a bottle a lot of distortion.  Sorry but I'm too lazy to covert currency.

I would take the scotch in a heartbeat but I haven't had a drink in 28 years, so I,ll have to settle for the lens.
