Beautiful series, Steph. I wonder why a lot of these old farts with expensive cameras can't take decent photo even not shooting through glass! It just goes to show that it is not the camera, but the person behind it. Your camera is not lacking in quality either. I can honestly say, "Great job!".

Thanks so much. I have been told by my co-workers that I have an eye for the birds. (it's a good thing i don't have a back office - I'd never get anything done) 😁

Nice shots. I rarely see cardinals in my area and when I do, I shoot and shoot getting as many shots as I can...

Thanks! I understand. If there is a bird that I see but not often, i am the same way! 😌

The first and third are particularly good - very unique . They definitely look their best in snow.

I am very lucky, I think to have seen this lil' guy :) As soon as I saw a glimpse, I knew he was special, even with the snow & the glass, I had to shoot through, he was unmistakable! :)

The first and last would make very good Christmas cards. They are so festive.

Beautiful photo.

I wasn't familiar with the term "Leucitic", and found this explanation to be useful: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leucism
