A good, one-subject, rear-view street image! Her contracted posture suggests, perhaps, that she'd rather be somewhere else, anywhere else, than right there, right then, maybe wearing more. Houston isn't always hot and humid; it can be cold.

The image elicits empathy, as well as a variety of questions.
Less of a tight crop at the top would be nice.
On balance a very good traditional street image that evokes Brassaī's eye.

Thanks Dave! Wish I knew as much about the great street photogs as you. I read and appreciate your posts in hopes of learning more. You are right, it's too tight. Rushed to get it out.

Oftentimes the works of the "greats" to whom I make reference are among those portfolios I compiled in the "sticky" topics at the top of the Section. If not conveniently found there, of course, it's easy to google the name and open "images" under the photographers google results.

Yes I do love biker rallies. :) It is an interesting shot. Is she waiting to go or get picked up or just taking the load off her feet.

Thanks for looking. Didn't ask what she was thinking. Took one shot, walked by and never looked back.

Love the perspective on this girl .. love her posture .. love the way her hair lays on her back .. now all you need is a motorcyle whizzing by her and you've got something.

I like the angle of the street in relationship to her as well.
