More Eagles over the Wabash

I saw the Eagles again today. This time I was using my D300 to give the lens a little more reach. Not as good as the D700 but not bad either. My kind of "BIF" (Bird In Flight). Hope you enjoy the eagles as much as I do.

Nice pics but there is something going on, perhaps in PP, creating some weird halos around the eagle specially in the first two.

Thanks.
Yea, I noticed that too. It's there even before I pulled a little of the shadows out in post. I was shooting with the D300 today rather than the D700 (that I used yesterday). I wish I had used the D700 today, it just looks better. I was wanting a little more reach on the lens... Oh well.

Some friends of mine said they saw 14 Bald Eagles along the Wabash where I took these shots. I saw 4 or 5 on this day.
The juvenile at the top of the frame looks like it's having a bad hair day. :)

Two juveniles and one adult.
