Like most people, having never seen one before, I was curious what this little bird was. To me it looked like a cross between a nuthatch and a wren; not likely. Time for the book. The Brown Creeper, though fairly common, is rarely seen because of their natural camouflage.

Excellent shots, esp. for your first time seeing it. They are for sure the hardest bird to get a decent picture of. Brown Creeper. They blend in so well with the bark of the trees that when you take your eye off of the bird to look through the lens of the camera you loose the bird so easy. They don't eat at the feeders often at all either, just getting bugs off of the trees so not one seen often unless they happen to catch your eye.
