If you are contemplating a digiital program to work with your pictures, I have PaintShop Pro X4 and I just received there companion book (called Picture Yourself Learning Corel PaintShop Pro X4). Of course you have to purchase this but I am so impressed with this book. It is 16 chapters and 410 pages, very easy to read, layouts and pictures to coinside completely with the software. I think it is a great book to go along with the software--no question. It is a great learning tool and reference.

Out of all the books I've read (my other half works for Barnes & Noble) on PSP X4, I think Picture Yourself Learning... is the best.

I may have to buy the book myself, I have the software and it works really well for me, so much to learn, the things you can do with it. Its the one I can afford anyway. I learn much easier with hands on or show and tell than I do a book or intructions, but I do go back to books now & then.

Yes you are correct ("so much to learn") but the book makes it really easy because of how it is written and the chapters spell everything out with pictures. Also the reference is really good and there are many extras in the back of the book.
