Cheetah and cub - Tanzania

How did I do? Nikon 5100 with a 70-300 zoom. About 25-30 feet away. Open topped Land cruiser. Northern Serengeti.

The Cheetah was the only one of the Big five + Big four we hadn't seen. On the way to the bush airstrip to start our journey home. Sharp eyed passenger thought she saw a Simba. Turned out to be a Cheetah and her cub. She liked to pose. Sometimes you just get lucky.

Wonderfully! It's amazing how they dissapear in the foliage and you're so close. Thanks for sharing JayHawk78!

Nice ones. We tracked a female with two juvenile cubs in Botswana. Great fun.

It's so nice when you find something like this when you least expect it. I hope you were given time to get as many shots as you wanted. Thanks for sharing.

Great shots. The Cheetahs I saw while in Tanzania where all 4 - 5 football field away sunning on large boulders

You did great. With either Lightroom or PhotoShop you can refine those images with dynamic tonal range and color.
