Hi does any forum member no if a Tokina AT-X 270 AF PRO 2 28-70 F/2.6-2.8 CANON EF FIT lens work with a canon 50d camera .I believe lens originally used on film eos and then used on a 5DII? cheers

The quick answer is "yes." It works on APS-C sized sensors in Canon DSLRs. You can read the review at:

I use that Tokina on my Nikons, its a WONDERFUL piece of glass! Mine is the Pro 1 model though, only difference was the hood mount.
