Shoving Windows 10 Down Your Throat.

Microsoft is now pushing Windows 10 to the extreme. This morning I found a very nasty note, virtually threatening those who have blocked windows updates, and other updates that prevent Microsoft from being able to auto update your machine to win 10, even if you dont want it.
Now when someone pushes an agenda to this extreme, I smell a rat. I do not want win-10, and will leave the internet if I have to. You do not push this old boy, if I dont want your privacy invasion on my computer, I just dont want it. And I will simply pull the plug. How do you like that, Bill Gates.
H**e to be the one to tell you this but Bill Gates doesn't care. He makes his money off Millennials and I-Gens. Do what you want but I don't think Micro-soft will be looking for you.
Of course you can always buy an Apple Computer and then Windows won't matter.

Microsoft is now pushing Windows 10 to the extreme... (
show quote)
Install Windows 10 on your computer (it's better the 8.1), then deactivate any snoop features that you know of. Plenty of youtube videos to show you how. If you do not want to know the weather in your area then do not activate this feature.
You can always revert back - I think...
It is much like a smart phone that knows were you are at all times.

there was a thread with an article on how to setup win10 to aleviate any privacy issues...
it's actually the first "good" windows since 2000 and it's smaller and faster than win8.
oh and did I mention it was free?

I don't think he did it but it's at least as rational as much of what I read here.

Well you see, I am 75 years old. I like old stuff, and don't want anything new. The moldier, the better.
I spent most of my working years in the electronics tech field, just enough to make me really h**e it.
Apple I think not, they value their junk much higher than I am willing to pay.
Really I am pretty tired of the internet, and have more important things to do.
I just bought an 11.6" notebook, just for that purpose (notes). It has 8.1, and I don't plan on using it on the internet, so works for me.
So I am not worried about ol Bill, or MS. Anytime they can turn me off, that will be fine. But it won't be easy to do. :)
Oh yes!, I don't like smarty phones either, wouldn't have one. Really I don't like any cell phone. :(
Basically, I guess I am just an old crock. :XD:

It may be too late, but I'd appreciate seeing the message you received. Thanks.
I just keep side stepping it.

I installed it... it's great, of course they always move around the turn off button... but other than that it's nicer and cleaner and faster and cheaper.
