Ninja coffee bar

I like a good cup of coffee. A cup of Starbucks is my favourite. At home I use an AeroPress with an espresso grind. I have seen advertisements for a Ninja coffee bar. Has anyone here used one? Is the coffee as good as the bald man claims? Any caveats? Any tips?

We have a Shark vacuum cleaner from the same outfit and are completely satisfied with its performance and cost. That is a check mark in the "FOR" column.

Thanks in advance for any input.

If you like Starbucks I would try a Keurig brewer with the re-fillable K-cups. I use this with Starbucks coffee. The Starbucks employees know exactly how fine to grind it for good being in the Keurig. This is half the price per cup of pre-made K-cups, creates much less waste, and tastes great! I am enjoying a cup right now!

PS, I like the re-fillable K-cups with the gold filter.

I haven't used it but it looks like it would do a good job, grinding beans right before using is a plus.

roasting your own beans will make it even better, and it's not difficult.

It's hard to beat that Aeropress though.

I bit the bullet and bought an espresso maker; a Breville 870. Not the best but a good price point and pretty reliable.

We buy our green beans from sweetmarias.com and roast them each week.

We enjoy the coffee from the Aeropress. Our local market carries a variety of espresso blends. I am going to look into sweetmarias. I LOVE the smell of coffee being roasted.

Thanks for the tips.

My daughter has two Keurigs and swears by them. I gave her a re-fillable cup with a gold filter, but she doesn't use it so if I go the Keurig route I'll it try out.

Thanks for the tips.

I do exactly the same, using a medium grind with my burr grinder. I like the metal mesh filters because they don't filter out the natural oils.

Hmmm, mine has lasted several years, and it's used several times each day. I use nothing but distilled water, could make a difference if your water is hard.
