Just casting a net here. Is anyone using Aperture to do luminosity masking? There are some detailed tutorials for PS which I no longer have access to. Thanks.

Finder - Aperture was discontinued quite a while ago. Many former Aperture users have migrated to a variety of alternative apps according to their needs.

Thanks. Support was discontinued-- but I still wish to use it...

FWIW - yes, support was discontinued, and at some point it will most likely no longer work with the latest version of OS X, unfortunately when is not known.

Like when Rosetta was removed from OS X and power PC software would no longer run under OS X.

I was an Aperture user for many years, but the minute it was announced that it would no longer be supported, I dropped it like a hot potato and looked for a replacement, Lightroom was it.

Provided you do not upgrade your OS X version, Aperture may work for years, me, I keep my OS current :)
