Here are a few shots of a peregrine falcon from the Air Force Academy putting on a show at 'Eagle Days' at Lake Pueblo, CO.
The handler has a bait ball at the end of rope that they use to draw the falcon to them

Fast birds at this range are not easy to keep focus. Soaring eagles are so much easier.
What a good day you had! Thank you for sharing it with us. The peregrines are one of my favorite birds to photograph.
