Marilyn, excellent series. Like the one with the bird on the deer's back, great catch and good color. Jeff

I'm glad they can come nibble on your trees, Mare! Beautiful shots! I'll bet they really are very hungry. Don't you wish you could feed them?

I sure do, Sue.. I sure do.

Here I am back again trying to find a way that you can feed them without getting fined. Is there a law that says you can't plant apple trees? Isn't this a farm that you have?...Rich

i live on a small acreage, Rich.
And yes- i was going to plant apple trees this year for personal use.

Before moving here, i had 40 acres back in WI and it was at one time an orchard so the deer would visit often ..

My problem is that I love animals. In fact probably more then people and I hate to see them hurt or starved in any way. I'm always putting out some kind of food for them weather it's seeds for the birds or sun flower seeds for the squirrels or other food for the raccoons and foxes and the deer. I just get a lot of enjoyment from it. The old bread is also liked by the deer. If I have leftovers I don't want that goes out for the animals and the next day when I check it is always all gone....Rich

I forgot to mention along with all the other animals I have here is a photo of a beer that was about 15 to 20 feet from me. They have also climbed up on my deck and we looked at each other threw my sliding glass door only inches away from each other. I love them also....Rich

After the major storm hit - no one ventured out including the deer. I can only imagine how hungry the poor things are .
