For an ultra-wide crop sensor zoom lens, it's one of the best available.

I own one, but don't have it. My daughter fell in love with it and it has been in her camera bag since early Dec.

The couple of times I used it, it was a very good lens.
Good thing I also have a 24-105 and a 14 mm prime in case I need a wide angle.

I have one for my D7100. Wouldn't part with it. I wasn't sure if I wanted something that wide but love what it does with scenery.

I use this lens and it is an excellent one. Here is a photo I took with it along the side of a road which I had to get very close to so I wouldn't get hit by a car. I think I was between 1 and 2 feet or may be 3 from the tree when I took this photo....Rich

I have one with the Pentax mount and think it is great for travel photos. But it is a large lens.
