Great Shot....
One can park just off the highway to the right of the house, and public access trail is available to walk around the keepers house, and out to the lighthouse. tours from 11 to 2 daily, and the keepers house is an interpretive center during the day.
Located near Central Coast and it is a working lighthouse.
Decommissioning of lighthouses is taking it'd toll, but most of the working and inactive lighthouses are parks, as this one is, and I recall there are about 9 on the Oregon Coast.
This one gets a lot more play because of the prominence of the point where you shot from and the pulloff there.
Nice shot... very sharp considering the distance. It's probably a bit over a mile from the shot to the lighthouse. You caught a good day.
Sorry to say, the most common activity in any parking area the length of the Oregon Coast is car breakins and thefts. Most parking areas are clearly marked such.

Wonderful shots. The red and white is so striking in contrast to the dark rocks and forest color. The surf below is a real plus also.
