Mallen - you might be interested in getting to know an Illinois acquaintance of mine by the name of Randy Benzie. Randy is not a UHH member, but he is a pro photographer who has devoted a large chunk of his work to images of Aurora and its surrounding area. Randy also favors unusual use of graphic-like textures and close-ups of antique objects. You can find his portfolio on ViewBug.com. You two might have much in common.
