A little bit busy, but there are some things I like: particularly the flowers and the shape of the chair. Maybe a trim off the top + tiny from the right side, like below.

If this crop is of interest, I would remove the piece of wall ornament still showing above the bottles + soften the lines of the shelf support by chair so it's not as obvious. You could even remove the piece of shelf support that overlaps the back of the chair + the hook on wall that is between the flowers and chair.

Pretty cool!

I think it is an interesting shot and I like the crop that Linda suggests. It takes away that bright and distracting area at the top of the composition. While I enjoy the photo; there is also no real "wow" factor for me here. Something is missing. Sorry.

Welcome to FYC!

I agree with Linda about the crop, the top of the image draws the eye too much. Reflections are often busy, and it doesn't always turn out to be a bad thing. Like Erich says, though, the image is interesting but doesn't have a lot of strength even with the crop. BUT - maybe it could be stronger! It may require some careful creative thought about what you want the image to convey, and then applying some really purposeful PP to get it to convey that. If you'll tell us a bit what you were imagining for this image, and give us permission, I bet a few folks could come up with some ways to strengthen it!

Thanks for your input Linda. I do think the crop helps strengthen the "chair". I had not even noticed the shelf support. S

Thank you for your comment. You are right-no wow. Really it is just a memory shot taken at a winery in the mountains. The white area at top is the sky, the dark- the ridge of the mtn. The crop did help focus the eye on the chair.

Thank you for the welcome. Have been wanting to post in this section. As a matter of fact, a friend was helping me with how to post from LR today and helped me send this photo. Hope I can remember what he showed me as I have others to post and much to learn. This section seems to be very helpful and kind. As for the reflection photo, I saw it, liked it a great deal, captured a special memory of sitting on the porch of a beautiful vineyard that is closing to the public. While having a tasty peach and wine slushy I might add. S

Welcome to FYC. You image obviously has meaning for you but to others may lack impact. Just boosted it a little but still not sure its got enough going for it to hold interest for very long. Got rid of the wine rack thingummy bob as well. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
You watermark is desperately intrusive and its hard for folks to drag their eyes away from it. They do not stop theft and your among friends so no need to advertise! This pic would be better without it

Your version looks great for my purposes. Thank you. I agree with the watermark. The friend that was helping me thought I should use it. Don't believe it helps and it is in your face as you said. Will try to post soon.

Hi, SeaSand

Lots of reflective phenomena, but not so many as to distract from the fascinating, engaging image.
The eye lingers and my stroll through the gallery stops at this one.
Very nice. Great palette of hues.
I suspect some of our PP gurus could suggest how to handle that upper right corner of brightness without cropping.
Thanks for posting

Dave

Thank you so much for your comments Dave. Would be nice to save the bit of the mountain in the photo. Makes me happy that you enjoyed it. Sandy

Sandy welcome to FYC. I like many find the top right reflection a distraction. Linda's and Billy's crop I think help. Take it for what it is worth, from someone who has much to learn.
