It is here Canon's newest flagship camera, the EOS 1d Mark II. See it at this link http://shop.usa.canon.com/shop/en/catalog .
It can shoot 14fps and has a buffer for up to 170 RAW photos with a CFast card. It can shoot 4k video for all of you video shooters.
This is not a camera for everyone, but if you need speed and capacity this is for you. Body alone is $5,999.00. It is scheduled for delivery on April 29, 2016.
OK Hoggers let's hear it Those that think it has a place and those who think it has no place.

For those that like to shoot with Canon, want 4k video and to "machine gun" photos to capture fast action, this camera most certainly has a place. For me, well, no.

There is an error on your link. Sounds like a great camera for a professional, but way out of my league.

The period at the end distorted the link.

I can't believe they're still using CF cards!

And the race continues. Another year of "should I upgrade to a Canon EOS 1D Mark II or should I....?"

It's just a money sucking pit that never ends.

The Canon EOS 1d Mark II went on sale in 2004, replacing the original EOS 1d model.

It is the Canon EOS 1D X MII that is now being announced. The correct link is

And yet another camera produced that less than 1% of the photographers out there will use. I'm sure it's a great camera...but...

I had a camera that was ruined from shooting in the sleet at a football game, so I switched to the 1d body style. Never looked back. I would buy it, but my 1d mk4 and 1ds mk3 do everything I need. Besides, the way canon is upgrading, this one will probably be replaced next year.
I think if I am going to dish out that kind of money I will move to a medium format digital instead.
