With this sequence I get to use one of my favourite compliment words 'macabre.' I love the whole concept but particularly the psycho killer pic for her wall. For about the third time since I have been responding to your stuff I tips my lid to you, you have taken this photo story thing to a whole different place.
Good onya.

Peter

Interesting...
You shall soon receive a bill for the cleaning and the-fubishing my keypad following an autonomous spewing of coffee from my nose engendered by the collective impact of your images.
Thanks a lot!
Really!

That wasn't an echo, just me laughing from the West side of the plains..
Good one Billy.

I like architectural photography and all fun aside, your tour of this place is excellent. Love the doll in the glass case.

..love the story. But, even more, I love the architecture. Are you in to architectural photography (AP)? If so, did you express your interest in a new AP section here?

Wonderful Billy-Story which is actually two stories in one, since we know what we are seeing from past context, and we now have your pretty hilarious fictionalized version to enjoy alongside it. Of course they are all great story-images, with people and props and history and color and form and line. They form a fine narrative with the surprise misfit image, totally different but engaged into the story via the narrative, to mark the midpoint. The frames help hold everything together. Even the frame for the Misfit is alike but different, suited to what it frames. Well done, and exactly what I was hoping we'd see from you. Please thank your lovely model for her contribution.

The first thing that impressed me was the setting. What an amazing structure. I couldn't wait to get to the next picture to see more of that house. I like how you built the story around an idea and used a variety of different perspectives and photos to bring the story to life. You also paid very close attention to details even down to the color of the framing. Right up your alley and you did it well. Lots of fun.

Glad you had a chuckle my friend! If you find your way to these parts I have access to this property at any time so we can shoot at will.
That doll is freaky in real life.

I know absolutely nothing about AP if Im honest. This property is being restored slowly and because of family connections I have access to it any time I wish. After taking these basic snaps I do plan to go back and do it properly.

No model as such min these were taken at same time as the Dancer image just followed Mrs Billy and shot snaps. Must have known they would come in handy at some time.
Wish more folks had seen some fun in the exercise and that includes you gal!! Your horses talking would have been great. The one with bad legs moaning cos he cant chase fillies any more an old nag missing the chemical high his crooked trainer gave him before a race and the hos that threw a race and allowed his mate to win as if he did not earn his owner some cash he was off to the pet food factory.
The car wash with father and daughter arguing. She wants to bring a black guy home for dinner and dad has just been accepted into the Klan.
Him not liking her shorts skirts and her mentioning his silly Klan uniform.
The doors all have people behind them. Gerome and Anthony live at number 13 and are gay but too shy to come out. The guy at 16 is into Nazi memorabilia and once by mistake came to the door dressed as an SS officer when the Jewish guy from the deli was delivering groceries etc etc.
Damn site more fun than that dry old website and getting worried about emotion etc.
Run it again sometime with a fun aspect to the fore. Or if ya like Ill supply the words for the images lol
Anyway min I thoroughly enjoyed it.
