What memory cards do you recommend

Bob, could you expand on your opinion about Sandisk? Looking for details, Card size, Speed, etc. Also looking for examples of experience with different Memory Cards, both Good & Bad, I know Sandisk has a reputation as a major memory card supplier, but WHY?
And why not Lexar, Transcend, PNY, etc.??
