I will be entering a local club contest and need to know how to temporarily mount a picture on matting with backboard. The temp mt. is so you can use it over again.what type of backboard should i use(foam etc. acid-non-acid)PLY-depth) I will get my supplies at AC moore craft stores as i do not have time enough to order online. can one refer me to the proper u tube links or other links for this project.Need a type of tape that will stick fairly well, but also easily removable. Cheers!!

You can mount the photo to the backboard with Scott,3m magic mending tape. This is the recommended tape by Kodak and photo finishers. Tape the corners and sides with short pieces, 3/4 to 1in. long. Used on pictures I mounted 20+ years ago, none have come loose but tape can be removed any time.

If mounting is very temporary (less than a month) try Blutack.

No idea how large your photo is but you could try the old type corner photograph mounts. Still available.

You can also see what they have to offer at Home Depot, Lowes, Wal Mart. If you buy from a specialty shop, you'll usually pay more. Good luck.
