It could be auto white balance isn't reading the scene correctly. Try changing the white balance to match what ever condition your shooting in. Then see if its still blue. If so , maybe others will have an idea ...

Are you able to adjust the white balance in your raw editor? What editing program are you using for the raw files?

Here's a topic posted just before yours:

RAW is not an actual photo format, just all the raw data that is captured. You must run it through a post processor to get the final details you want. While you can see on the camera what you shot, that is only a thumbnail processed JPG based on what the camera would have done if it was to do the final post processing. In a nutshell it merely gives you a preview. You can accept those choices or make other choices as you still have all the raw data to work with. Except for the thumbnail, no attributes such as white balance, sharpening have been applied and you do not have a final image until you export/process/save as a true image format such as JPG or TIF.

Before the purists chime in, I am merely giving a brief synopsis to help a newbie understand what is and is not happening. As time goes on I'm sure he will ask for more in depth details.

are you shooting in florescent lighting? this type of lighting may cause a blue tint because of the light.

? I wonder how you 'shoot' JPG2000 when all cameras use the antiquated JPG...

Just wondering.

As to your captures looking blue? Adjust the WB then the tint if needed you likely use a tungsten WB.

If you use raw, set your WB to normal or auto, it does not matter. You will need to 'shoot to the right thought (ETTR).

Better yet, use UniWB. Find the reference frame on the web for your camera and use that for exposure. This will give you the 'true' raw histogram. Note all your captures will be green, and I mean green but the results once you PP the capture are astounding. Check this link for explanation.

What software and what version is giving you a blue cast. Is it a subtle blue cast, or are your images actually blue. I'm wondering if the version of the software your are using is older and doesn't properly support Nikon D7200 raw files.

JPG2000? I don't know of any camera that "shoots in JPG2000" let alone Nikon. This was the Edsel of the camera world. Incompatibility issues if I remember right.

Check your WB setting if you have it set for indoor and shooting in sun you'll get a blue cast.

It would help us to help you if you would explain "all my pictures are having a blue cast"

Are you saying they look blue when you have pulled them into post processing software? And what software are you using?

It depends on the RAW converter. Converter like Nikon NX-2 would use all the same setting from the camera so when you first open the RAW file it would look the same as the JPEG. Other program like Adobe ACR might use a set of preset that's not from the camera and the color might look wrong even if the WB was set correctly when the shot was taken.

Why don't you convert one of those bluish RAW files to a JPG and post it here so we can see what you're dealing with?
