I think the American people should take a very close look at it's leaders and take the time to really evaluate them. America has started to eliminate God and it's basic values are being put under the rug. America was founded on Conservative values and certainly our foundation was influenced by God. Everyone has religious freedom guaranteed by our constitution but some just had to come up with away to slip in athiest values. Our Surpreme court bought into the Separation of Church and State to stop prayer in anything that is government. That includes schools, government institutions and even the military. When Thomas Jefferson drafted this thought it was not meant to take God from our country as implied by some. I contend we should all get together and change this slap to America and if it means getting rid of those in the Surpreme court that advocate this lie, so be it. This ought to get your blood boiling. Have a great day. I am sure I am gonna catch H--- with this one.

Gee...when did you speak to Thomas Jefferson personally to ask exactly what he meant?
My blood boils only when short-sighted people want me to be conservative. Thanks, but NO thanks! :)
You have a great day, too! ;)

What ruling ever stopped prayer? Anyone, from public school students to government workers, are allowed to pray from the moment they awaken until they retire at night.

They just have to do in a manner that doesn't offend those who wish not to hear it or have one particular brand of magical thinking supported by tax payer dollars .

One pair of hands working accomplishes more than a billion hands clasped in prayer.

What are these Athiest values you speak of?

To be good to other people?
Raise fine, caring and productive children?
Work hard and look after their families?
Donate to numerous charities?

Them there Athiest have such terrible values. :?

Which God? My God, Your God, the gentleman's god across the street? I don't care who, what or if you even worship at all. It does NOT effect your sense of values and how you treat people on a daily basis.

People going to church and worshiping "god" every Sunday morning and looking down on me for being agnostic are the ones running around on their spouses on Wendesday evenings, stealing from their employers on Monday, and have no idea where their children are on Friday Evenings. The US is falling apart simply because people are not taking responsibility for their own actions and trying to pass the buck not because some body doesn't worship the same God as you.

I think the American people should take a very clo... (show quote)

I cannot help but believe a couple of heretics would not have been welcome integrated in the Board of Inquisition at Spain during the 1400s. Or they would have also undoubtably been welcomed again at the Salem Witch Trails of Massachusetts when the Christian Court stood for benediction before the trails at Oyer and Terminer circa 1692. You have your right of expression by the First Amendment. No one has the right to do anything to you for voicing your opinion. I think that is what makes America great is the mixture of different ideas and philosophies that make up our government, That should help eliminate bigots or at least the influence of bigots. It will surely reduce the chance in the future of a despotic ruler, that is my opinion, 4/23/12

Athiests have no values....they are just misguided, unintelligent quirks of society.

Ok, here you go again!!!!!! yeah it's you.....I am curious, did we evolve or were we created. fess up. Do you believe there is no God or intelligent being. I have never been able to get a straight answer for either an agnostic or athiest. They believe and condemn, but have no basis for their beliefs. I am not saying you are one. Explain your thinking, inquiring minds need to know. And yes, churches are full of the type people you talked about, but there are good people as well.....
Personally believe there is a creator, but I do not go to church as much now. I am more spiritual. You would probably be fun to have a debate with. Be nice....

Now that was a great explanation. I am terrified where we are heading though.

Values: a set of consistent ethic values (personal or cultural) that measures the purpose of integrity and moral code.

Sorry having values has nothing to do with worshiping a God, my dog, mother nature or not believing in a higher power at all. Your closed minded, sort sighted view of the world is sad.
