I'm just wondering if Nikon is even shipping any D800's. I haven't heard of anybody getting theirs. I have one on order and my 2nd cousin is waiting to buy my D7000.

I saw 3 D800's in use in Yellowstome this weekend. Its an impressive body and easily distinguishable. There were no D800E's around though.

I got mine a few weeks ago, but I also got on a waiting list back in September. I don't know if that matters or not.

I got on the B&H preorder as soon as their webpage gave it the OK. Still no D800 yet. None of my friends received theirs either.

I get regular B&H emails telling me I'm still on the list.

I love it! I promise, it will be worth waiting for. You won't be disappointed. I am going from a D80, so the live view on this camera is very addicting, I seem to go through batteries very fast because of it, hahaha.

I haven't used it yet! Still reading the manual. Lots to learn, especially the video section.
