I thought it was my computer. Happy to hear others are having the same issue. I hate to copy and paste to open.

????? I must surely be missing something....everything seems fine to me.

If the login was changed then my password manager must be handling the change fine as I see no difference ;)

Every morning in my email I have UHH, after clicking to read there was a link that took me right to UHH, with small lines for each topic, now after all the cut & paste the format is in large 'blocks', very hard to navigate!! A PM to Admin has returned no answer! Been on here over 5 years without this problem. Glad at least someone else has noticed this.

Is your email from AOL possibly?

BTW - I receive emails all the time with new responses, link is fine, click and done....nothing changed.... HOWEVER there have been a couple posts alluding to an issue with certain ISP's, AOL in particular I believe....

NOTE - Read last entry on this thread... could this be your issues?

It might have. I use Lastpass to manage passwords. So, I rarely see a login page.

I suspect that there have been some changes to the site in some way, as I was unable to get pages to load. This occurred sometime between the end of November and the middle of December.

I turned Lastpass off and tried the site. The login page showed up, but I can't say it looks different, it just works. But, if that's the only issue you have, and can still log in, I'd say your lucky and don't worry about it.

Like yourself, I receive an emails daily which link me directly to the latest Forum Digest. I've tried clicking the link, copying and pasting the link, etc. I don't see any change, or odd appearance, at all.

If one does that, they are only going to be linked to the topics they are watching and not the most recent ones posted.

The better way is to login and then click the Latest Digest at the bottom of the page. This was the solution offered by admin when I suddenly quit receiving my daily emails from UHH.

Good ol' AOL. Years ago when I was working at a hosting company, AOL was the biggest pain in the ass of any ISP. They'd declare an entire block of web addresses as blacklisted. Suddenly, not one person on any of those shared hosting servers we managed could send an email. Trying to get them to unblock or cooperate and let us know the reason for the blacklisting was impossible.

I've had more than this as an issue. The admin / programmer dude maybe has had a running email communication with me over pages not loading or freezing part way loaded. The usual questions, but no resolution.

I solved it myself. If you're going to reply to this particular post, please do so in the link provided, as I don't wish to hijack this thread.

Seems to be affecting AOL at the moment.

If you use AOL, then try contacting AOL support and tell them
that links aren't enabled from a specific sender. They should be
able to advise you on the settings.
It looks like their anti-spam algorithm. They don't enable links
for anything they consider suspicious. And there is no way to know
what they consider suspicious on any given day.

Also, try adding news@uglyhedgehog.com and forum@uglyhedgehog.com to
your address book. That might let your provider know that you are
expecting e-mail from UHH, so they would enable the links.

You can use Latest Digest link at the bottom of the page to access the digest.

UPDATE: I submitted a support request to AOL, but it would also help if additional
requests came from their customers.
Since my request is by definition an outside request for them, they might
not even investigate it.

But they would have to investigate a problem reported by their customers.

So please contact them, and tell them that links from one specific sender
aren't clickable. Basically, just describe the situation, and they'll be able
to gather additional detail from their logs.

For now, try to copy the address and paste it in your browser's address bar.
It's not ideal, but should work in the mean time.
