What is it?
Looks like some sort of aerodynamic directional flap to me.
well it is on an a/c, but not a flap or flight control
It resembles my suitcase after flying from Tampa to Boston!
Strongly resembles the cockpit of a centrifuge, flight simulator
Looks like a shin guard or some kind of protective gear

I guess that could be close enough. It is the attach point for space ship 2 under the wing of white night 2. enlarge the picture you can see it in the center of the aircraft
