I like to take what nature provides and transform it into something visually exciting and have a pleasing emotional impact. What please my senses may rattle yours.

I salute your creativity Bob. #1 is a real winner.
I often say that what I like about Post Processing is not being restricted by reality.

I fully agree. Impressionist artist concentrate on tone and effect more than detail. I cannot draw or paint a straight line so I do the next best thing with my Kodak Easyshare.
Thanks for your very kind comments.

Thanks Sinatraman. I would like to be able to take more landscapes, but my travel in my mythical golden years is very limited, so I do more macrophotography around the yard then have fun with post processing.

unless the landscape is of something unusual, its all been done before.seen it or something like it. i like the creativity side of photography better than the science side.

All art is valid; it's a personal thing, that's why it's art. 'The Eye Of The Beholder.'

I like all interpretations.

Nice! Now that's what I'm talking about Wildspirit. Art comes in many forms and as I said before that there are no do's and don'ts from Mt. Sinai on photography.

Ansel Adams has many great quotes, among the ones I like best are 'you don't take a photograph, you make a photograph. Sure does take the solid frame off my mind.

I loved Ansel Adams and his powerful, beautiful, moving images and his quote is right on. I would love to see what he would do with digital.
