Try AdoramaTV it t is a video site on youtube run by Adorama Photo and it has videos that help explain all sorts of techniques and problems. Very informative and the price is right. FREE!

There are many links like that and most are repeated time and time again. Perhaps, if someone has the time to spend, a separate section, sorted by type, of links to help those who would like it (i.e. SD cards, Histograms, Shutter speed...etc.)
