Really good shots. I recently visited the butterfly conservatory in Palm Springs and couldn't get them to sit still. You got them.

Thanks. I would agree with #3 except it has the ass sharp and head just beyond the DOF. Canon 50D with Canon 24-105.

Like them,very nice ! Did they let you use a flash ??i been at 2 different Butterfly houses and they said NO flash allowed,,??

Thanks, I used a ring flash and no one said a word... other than those that stated they wished they had brought their flash.

Thanks, it was a lot of fun after the lens had time to dry after coming in from the cold. I did learn a valuable trick to use the hand dryers in the washroom for a quick dry and warm up. Worked great. All in all we spent about 2 hours trying to get the big brown one to open it's wings to show the vibrant baby blue but apparently, they land and close up to stay hidden from enemies. :(
