Nice photo--I like the colors and the balance of the objects.

If I remember right at some point in the past you mentioned you don’t really do landscapes, something about not being able to duplicate the vastness of mother nature…..I can understand that theory. This shot is one reason maybe you should reconsider. Although it does not duplicate, it can evoke the memory of when you were there. For me the viewer I can almost feel the damp ground under my feet, and my eyes squinting from the soft glare. Well done Mr. Spad.

Very well done. A beautiful scene. My only thought might be to dodge those boats a bit. Took a moment or two for me to identify what they were. Admittedly, I'm in very bright ambient light here, and perhaps viewed in a darker room, it might not be an issue.

Why this works Frank is there is foreground subjects and the huge seascape forms a backdrop. When I say landscape does not work is just a shot of a huge mountain or whatever and nothing in the foreground.
Without being able to shoot between the boats I would not have taken this.
Glad ya liked it my friend.

Good morning Treepusher from a very breezy South Seas with blue sky and warn sunshine.
This is actually a bracketed set but not merged in anyway. I could have used the underexposed image to lighten the boats but when I tried that the light direction looked all wrong. I did lighten the boats a tad as obviously I was shooting into the sun which placed the boats in total shade. Works OK in my light here. Probably a shot to hang in a dark corner.
Appreciate you dropping by my friend and taking the time and trouble to comment

It is indeed a seascape Chuck. Hope you are seeing the world a little more clearly and making good progress back to full fitness.

Oh, I wish I was but I ain't, but thanks so much for asking. I remain bat-blind in the right eye with The Cataract That Ate Cleveland. The good news is that I see a cataract specialist tomorrow. I'm not sure how soon they can do the actual surgery, but the sooner the better. :D My left eye isn't doing so good either. There may be another cataract. I hate getting old.
