Flying birds

I have Birds, flocks of birds in the back yard. I have taken so many pictures of them sitting on the feeders, in the bird baths and stationary spots. I decided, the only ones I was keeping now is if they are flying. I would like constructive criticism on the pictures, or something I need to be doing. Thanks in advance.

Are you shooting through a window?
The haze filter in PS or LR will help. They are also a bit under exposed.

Otherwise you seem to have a great spot to shoot from. A bit longer lens to get closer views of individuals or pairs would help. You do have a variety and plenty of them.

I have a Tamron 600, and just got a new Nikkon 18-400. I use both. And I am shooting thru a window. And I realize that cuts the color and clarity. But trying to keep the dog in, and the birds from taking off, I guess I could try the dog door. Thank you for your advise!! I do appreciate it.

Now I have a vision of you on the floor with a cannon barrel sized lens stuck out the doggy door and the dog trying to push you out of the way to "GO".

All is not lost. Using a few tricks you can resurrect your image but not the sharpness.

Color noise suppression.

That's funny how you tell everyone else not to post pictures on threads you start.

Well, I gave the answer to the question (how) in PM. When I do post an image it is never my own picture but a partial edit or blow-up of the op post.

Also you may want to recall that this was posted in the wrong area and transferred by the admin to the gallery where I never unless 'beamed there' by ostrich (or emu)

So there...

You should visit the gallery more often there is a lot of good stuff shows up there. I subscribe to and make comments in several sections. I post almost exclusively in the Gallery because there are some in the other sections that irritate me with their "me expert, you ignorant" attitude when anything doesn't fit "their" view and methods. One of my pet peeves was/is "It isn't True M***o" that used to be the first thing they posted instead of helping and then explaining the strict definition.

My 'prose' is often too sharp.

Beside a 'gallery' is for show, not tell. On that aspect the best place to get a valid comment at the moment is 'For your consideration', run by Steve.

Even there I am concerned that I would bring with me a bunch of trolls so I stick to two channels and post sometimes (rarely) in other that interest me.

Please do not answer, I am bailing out. I stayed too long.
