Other than the green background, I think you did a good job. I've tried doing out of bounds and just can't get the hang of it.

I tried many different backgrounds , this one for some reason made the bird show up better...practice practice

Hey Tom;
Viewing the download it looks like you got the bird to come out of the picture but the background takes too much away from reality.
I can't help with technical advice but I believe you are on the cusp of success.
Stay at it...you are almost there.

I like the bird part and think it would have really stood out with a simple black or solid color.

Actually, I've seen much worse attempts than this. I just have to agree that the background REALLY needs to go. :-)

Great first attempt. Just keep in mind that they background is supposed to basically be "invisible" I would go with something very subtle. Only my opinion, though.
