Welcome to Day 113 :) Don't forget about the Prom Night Challenge... we have until the end of this month to post what prom night means to you. Be creative .. nothing says we have to actually go photograph a prom. Try to think outside the box on this one. :)

What's wrong with this guy. He does have him a mate even though he's not the best looking guy in the yard. Their nest is right outside my bedroom window.

Prom night means simply $$$$ to me... lol....I never had a prom...or went to one...I got married at 16... they seemed frivolous to me and my family wouldnt have afforded a fancy dress. I have 6 kids....so it has always seemed like a big expenditure... and I guess Im not very romantic or something.. but it takes a back seat to your wedding, birth of your kids...so many things....I'm not a fan of proms. Besides its just a worry that your kid might do something they will regret. Sorry to be a big negative raindrop .... JMHO...now I'll shut up!

Sherry...your horse peaking is a great shot...i get sad at zoos and cant do circuses. to me it is kinda like animal jail and punishment respectively....even though I know animals are fed well and dont have to worry about predators...it still makes me sad to see them caged. Particularly monkeys and apes who I think must be sad too to be in animal jail.

We have seen a few male cardinals that have no feathers on their heads. I am looking to see if I can find a photo of one.
