Elvrin was a well known Pin-Up Artist/Illustrator who, obviously, used photos of models as inspiration for his paintings. Calling this "photoshopping" (as the link does) is stretching things a bit.

These are wonderful. Thanks for posting the link. I always wonder where those illustrations came from. Real artistry. Try doing that in PS!

Actually you can do that in Photoshop and there have been a few tutorials on just this subject on the NAPP site.
