UHH "Timing" in question

When I download/receive UHH posts (time marked), there are already-posted numerous responses. 15 minutes after time/date - many persons have replied. Am I in the "wrong time zone," or just missing something? (Or, have better things to do with time than "answering" each-and-every post to the tune of, more than 1,000. ?

People here are very helpful. Be thankful knowing if you have a problem, or need a recommendation that there are "Hogs" out there who will take the time to respond. It's a great group.

Topics are constantly being refreshed in the upcoming topics section, and many will start reviewing those before the rest of their newsletter.

That's where the fast responses are likely coming from.

Yes Duck, how dare you ask a question... the answer to your time question is that you should say thank you to all other UHH people. Thank god, or God, that we have thought police keeping people and Ducks from Quacking too loudly.

My guess: The UHH forum is dynamic, meaning folks comment and/or contribute posts at any time of the day. The forum digest, on the other hand, is posted only once a day, at 5:35 est.

Someone could create a topic and comments could be made before the forum digest is posted. So, it's all a matter of timing.

I suppose periodic "refreshing" of the digest would keep the activity more current.

I know "it's a great group" who answer many questions. Have learned MANY things from UHH responders/threads. I asked a "timing" question you didn't address. That's OK. No response necessary.

I recently read about 2 pages into a post before I realized someone had dug it up from 3 years ago!

You didn't respond to the question. Question had nothing to do with UHH'ers expertise.

It has happened, on occasion, that an individual will "revive" a thread that is months old by posting to it and the rest of us will post to it as though it's a brand new thread until some eagle eye points out the date of the thread. Then we all feel rather duped.

Ol' Frank Loc: Orlando,

Maybe it is from some of us all nighters who have nothing better to do than look at our beloved UHH.
